A two-page printed paper titled "Gnadenhutten on the Mahoning" about the history of the Gnadenhütten Moravian settlement on the Mahoning creek near the Lehigh River (now Lehighton, Pennsylvania). It describes how Natives destroyed the village and killed 11 missionaries and Lenape-converted Christians during the French and Indian War in 1755. An accompanying brown enveloped is titled "Address to the Moravian Historical Society, James Henry."
A bound booklet of 8 handwritten pages containing a speech read to the Moravian Historical Society on September 24, 1882, beginning with congratulations for the 25th anniversary of the Moravian Historical Society. This might be James Henry's address to the society as the president because he then introduces the next speaker at the end of the document. While there is no working title on the document, a later list of lectures in the Transactions of the Moravian Historical Society (Vol. 4, No. 5, 1895) lists "General Retrospect of the Moravian Historical Society’s Transactions since its Organization" as a paper read that year by Henry.
A folded booklet of four printed pages addressed to the Moravian Historical Society on September 19, 1883 about their biography work and two papers published by the society, titled "A Red Rose from the Olden Time" and "Friedensthal." At the end of the document he introduces the lectures for the meeting as "A History of the Old Ferry" and "The Brethren's House at Nazareth."
A four-page booklet addressed to the members of the Moravian Historical Society on October 21, 1863. The text congratulates the members on their work preserving mementoes, especially of the American Moravians, and gives special recognition to the librarian who cares for the materials.
